1.70

एवमेव दुर्निशायां कृष्णपक्षागमे चिरम् । तैमिरं भावयन्रूपं भैरवं रूपमेष्यति ॥७०॥

evam eva durniśāyāṃ kṛṣṇapakṣāgame ciram | taimiraṃ bhāvayan rūpaṃ bhairavaṃ rūpam eṣyati

anuṣṭubh

— in just this way ; — on a moonless night ; — at the coming of the dark fortnight ; — for long ; — the darkness ; — contemplating ; — as the form of Bhairava ; — one reaches the Form

Just so, in a deep night, at the onset of the dark fortnight, contemplating the dark form long enough, one will attain the form of Bhairava.
