1.71

एवमेव निमील्यादौ नेत्रे कृष्णाभमग्रतः । प्रसार्य भैरवं रूपं भावयंस्तन्मयो भवेत् ॥७१॥

evam eva nimīlyādau netre kṛṣṇābham agrataḥ | prasārya bhairavaṃ rūpaṃ bhāvayaṃs tanmayo bhavet

anuṣṭubh

— in just this way ; — having first closed ; — the two eyes ; — of dark color ; — in front ; — having spread out ; — the Bhairava-form ; — contemplating ; — one becomes identified with it

Likewise, closing the eyes at first, spreading the dark appearance in front, contemplating the form of Bhairava, one becomes That.
